Yes, everyone has to start somewhere. I wasn’t born a photographer or darkroom printer, the skills have to be learnt. Practice makes perfect! The most difficult in recent years was learning Photoshop. There are so many ways of doing the same thing and lots of tools that I don’t need. The more you use it the easier it becomes. After quite a few years using it I’m pretty good at using it for what I need to do.
