- Persistence.
- Patience.
- To take photographs even in appalling weather as these can be the most dramatic.
- Don’t get bogged down with equipment. Buy a camera that does the job and stick with it, don’t change it every time Nikon or Canon release an updated model.
- Good fitness if you want to do more than just take photographs from your car.
- A sense of humour, you will need it!
